Masintin Carinena

Truquilemu is one of the coolest areas in the Maule Valley, hidden by surrounding hills. It’s cultivated by only a few small viticultores and one of them is Waldo Orellana, who still dry farms his 70+ year old bush vines by hand and horse. This Carifiena was fermented with native yeasts and aged in concrete tanks, cocciopesto amphoras and old French oak barrels.

Masintin Cinsault

This Cinsault comes from parcels of ungrafted bush vines planted on the granitic soils of Los Castanos and Bularco in the Itata Valley. The vineyards are cultivated by traditional small-scale viticultores, Cristian Lagos and Erwin Fuentealba. Grapes are carefully selected, harvested by hand and fermented in open fermentation vats. The wine was aged in concrete tanks, clay amphoras and old french oak barrels.
