Copa Cinsault
Located in Florida, Itata Valley. 80 years old vines over granitic soils with 10% slope in the Coastal Range. Dry farmed, no rootstock and trained gobelet.
Grapes were destemmed and stored in raulĂ wood open tanks, where it slowly fermented for 20 days, with gentle pump-overs to avoid over-extraction. Malolactic fermentation and aging in concrete tanks and old french oak barrels and stainless steel vats for 18 months. Finally, wine is aged and bottled for 6 months before being commercialized.
Bright ruby red colour, red fruits aromas, raspberry and strawberry, with a floral touch and hints of rainy forest floor. Soft tannins palate and a good structure that keeps the wine fresh, complex, with typicity and pleasant finish.
